    Many years ago, the Leola JW Club was originally named the Leola Jaycees and Jaycettes.  It was later changed to JW Club, meaning 'Just Women.'  The JW Club hosts many events in the community.  The main event is the Leola Snow Queen Pageant (High School Junior and Senior), Talent Contest (High School Junior and Senior) and Prince & Princess Contest (Kindergarten) held yearly at the school.  Other events the JW Club hosts are a community blood drive in the summer and Easter Coloring Contest for preschool through fourth grade.
